Terms of service

These Terms & Conditions apply to all orders placed by consumers and businesses through the online shop at blue-hat-tea.com. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession (§ 13 BGB). Deviating terms of the customer are not accepted unless we have expressly agreed to them in writing.

The presentation of products in the online shop is not a legally binding offer but a non-binding invitation to order.

You can place products in the shopping basket without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your order (see section 4). The ordering process consists of the following steps: (1) add products to the basket; (2) review the basket; (3) enter your email and delivery address; (4) choose a payment method; (5) review all order details on the final overview page; (6) submit the order by clicking the "Buy now" button.

By clicking "Buy now" you submit a binding offer to purchase the goods in the basket. We confirm receipt of your order automatically by email immediately afterwards. The contract is concluded when we send you this order confirmation.

Before submitting your order you can change the quantity of any product or remove it in the basket. On the final overview page you can return to any earlier step using the "back" links or your browser's back button and change your entries. You can cancel the ordering process at any time by closing your browser window.

We store the contract text and send you the order details, these Terms & Conditions and the Right of Withdrawal notice by email after you place your order. These Terms & Conditions can also be viewed and printed at any time at blue-hat-tea.com/policies/terms-of-service. Past orders are no longer accessible through the website after checkout unless you create a customer account, in which case you can view them under "My account".

The contract language is English.

All prices are final prices in euro and include shipping to the countries we deliver to (see section 8). For deliveries to North America, import duties and taxes are also included. In accordance with § 19 UStG (small business regulation) no VAT is charged or shown.

You can pay with the methods offered at checkout. These currently include credit and debit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay and Klarna. Your payment method is charged when you complete the order, unless the payment provider's terms state otherwise.

We deliver to all member states of the European Union and to North America (United States, Canada and Mexico). Interest in other countries? Share your ideas via the contact form!

Delivery times are stated on the Shipping & Payment page and on each product page. Delivery is made by parcel service to the address you provide.

The goods remain our property until the purchase price has been paid in full.

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details, including the model withdrawal form, are set out in the Right of Withdrawal notice.

The statutory rules on liability for defects apply.

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG). If a dispute cannot be settled between us, we will inform you in text form of a competent consumer arbitration board and whether we are willing to participate in proceedings before it (§ 37 VSBG).

We have not submitted to any codes of conduct.
